General notarization work involves a notary public (a public official who is authorized to witness the signing of documents and certify that the signer is who they say they are) performing a variety of services to help people make their documents legally binding.

Loan Signing

A notary signing agent (NSA) is a notary public who is specifically trained to

VIN Verification

Vehicle Identification  Verification (VIN verification) is a process where a notary public verifies the authenticity of a vehicle’s VIN. This is done by inspecting the VIN visually for any signs of tampering or damage, and then comparing it to the vehicle’s registration and title information. The notary may also check the VIN against a database of stolen vehicles.

Notary certification of safe deposit contents

Notary Certification of Safe Deposit Contents is a  process where a notary public witnesses the opening of a safe deposit box and creates a document that lists the contents of the box. This document is then signed by the notary public and the safe deposit box lessee.

The purpose of this certification is to provide a record of the contents of the safe deposit box in case there is a dispute about what was in the box at a later date. The certification can also be used to prove that a particular item was in the safe deposit box at a certain time.
